“I received the original reference photo for this painting from a dear old friend right after I had been in a serious car accident. She supplied me with a dozen beautiful photos that she had taken herself. I experimented with doing things “larger than life,” altering them to capture mood and emotions from colors and the general movement of the shapes on the canvas.”
